The training is suitable for those who already have some experience in the restaurant industry or basic training in the field.

Become a skilled Bartender, mastering presentation, sales, and mixology. Or, become a talented Waiter/Waitress, offering personalized service to improve the dining experience. Bartending training key focus areas

Upon completion, participants will have the expertise needed to be a talented in bartending, from crafting signature cocktails to customer satisfaction.

Graduates will be ready to be talented in diverse roles in product development, marketing, sales, and hospitality management into running the business successfully and innovative.
Toteutussuunnitelma
The scope of the degree is 120 competence points.
The Waitress/Waiter degree consists of four units:
- Serving customers at a restaurant, 40 cp,
- Working in a restaurant, 45 cp,
- Working in a catering service, 20 cp
- Developing a product for a restaurant, 15 cp
The Bartender degree consists of three units:
- Serving customers at a restaurant, 40 cp,
- Working in a bar, 45 cp
- Working in a cocktail bar, 35 cp
The training begins as an apprenticeship on October 22nd 2024. Training period 10/2024 - 12/2025. Contact instruction days will be announced later. Contact instruction takes place in Rovaniemi, but your workplace can be anywhere in Lapland. The training consists of 20-30 days of contact instruction. Orientation days will be October 1-3. Apprenticeship training requires a valid employment relationship during the training at a workplace in the field in tasks corresponding to the objectives of the degree and a professionally qualified workplace supervisor. The training is free of charge.
Hakeutuminen
Students are selected based on an application and an interview. We will contact applicants after the application period has ended. Applicants will be interviewed on 12-13 September in Teams.
