The aim of the intended project is to promote implementation and usage of green tools in order to make the workplace of practical training at vocational school more environmentally friendly and sustainable. All four participant schools will definitely strengthen and develop Nordic-Baltic co-operation on education as well as help to create an educational area in the Nordic and Baltic countries.
The purpose of intended project is also to raise the quality and introduce some innovation in organization of practical training at all four schools. During our project pupils and teachers will have to concentrate on and pay their attention to green ideas at vocational school. Participating in the project vocational education institutions will find out the current situation on different green aspects in organization practical training in technical specialities. Within this project its participants will take a small step towards a greener and more sustainable future.
The project focus is on the technical programmes/specialities like enegetics, idustrial processing, car body repairer and mining. The coordinating institution is from the Baltic country, three partner organisations represent the Nordic and two other Baltic countries. All project participants are vocational schools and there will be involved both pupils and teachers in the project activities. We apply for the project activity type in order to develop a guidance/recommendations to organize green workplace at vocational school. The 2nd and 3rd year students, mainly 16-18 years old, are involved in this project.
