This training is suitable for those working in hotel room or cottage cleaning within the tourism and hospitality industry.
Koulutuksen tavoite
Gain essential housekeeping skills for the hospitality industry, including cleaning methods, equipment, hygiene, quality standards, and workplace ergonomics. The training also strengthens communication and teamwork skills for working in an international tourism environment. During the training, you will complete two units of the Vocational Qualification in Tourism Industry: Cleaning services for hotels and accommodation facilities, (20 competence points) and Working in an international work environment (15 competence points).
Toteutussuunnitelma
The training will begin as apprenticeship training on 28.10.2026. The duration of the training is from October 2026 to April 2027 depending on the student’s personal plan. Contact teaching will be organized on October and November. Altogether there will be 4 contact teaching days: 28.10., 29.10., 24.11. and 25.11. The Hygiene Passport training course will take place on 18.11. In addition, the training includes first aid training, which will be completed on separate days. The location for contact teaching is Kittilä, but you can join from anywhere in Lapland!
Tuition fee will be charged from students who are not citizens of an EU country. More information is available here and on REDU’s website. The price of individual qualification modules will be determined at a later date.
