Koulutuksen tavoite
Managing daily operations 50 Competency Points, Specialist Vocational Qualification in First-Level Management in the Hotel and Catering Sector
The objective of this qualification unit is to develop the skills needed to manage daily operations effectively in a production or service environment. Students learn to monitor changes in the industry, work according to their organization’s strategy and business objectives, and ensure the smooth running of daily activities. The studies focus on operational leadership, inventory and purchasing management, sustainability, quality and self-monitoring, safety management, and financial performance monitoring. Graduates are able to lead teams, optimize resources, ensure compliance with regulations, and support profitability through effective operational and financial decision-making.
Toteutussuunnitelma
Programme Delivery: Apprenticeship-Based Learning. The programme is delivered through apprenticeship training, combining practical workplace learning with structured instruction.
Requirements: Employment contract with a minimum of 25 hours per week. Work duties that include supervisory responsibilities (e.g., Shift Manager, Team Leader).
Online Learning Sessions: All sessions are delivered via Microsoft Teams.

All competence demonstrations must be completed by Week 12 of 2027.
Tuition fees will be charged from 1 August 2026 for students who are not citizens of the European Union. More information is available in REDU’s website. The fee for this qualification unit will be determined and announced later.
