Here you will find more information about applying to REDU.

Application criteria

  • You are at least 18 years of age. There is no upper age limit. If you are a minor, you need to have a guardian living in Finland.
  • You have accomplished Finnish elementary school or a similar education (approximately nine years at the age of 7-16 years).
  • You have sufficient English language skills to study in English. If you are applying to education in Finnish, you have to have Finnish language skills on the required level.
  • You need good IT-skills and preferably your own computer/laptop.
  • You have good health and motivation to study and work in the field you are applying to.

How to apply via Education calendar?

  1. Go to Education calendar (in Finnish Koulutuskalenteri) and find the right training or qualification by searching with its name.
  2. Check carefully through what are the application criteria. If in doubt you can always contact us by sending email to haku@redu.fi.
  3. Click the “Apply to training” (in Finnish “Hae koulutukseen”) icon. Now the application form should open.
  4. Change the language into English in the upper right corner.
  5. Fill in all the information needed in the application. Remember to add attachments such as language certificate if requested.
  6. If you are applying to an apprenticeship training, please remember to let us know if your employer is interested in apprenticeship training by crossing the box in “I´m interested about apprenticeship”. Then fill in the employer information.
  7. After you have finished the application form remember to send the application. You receive a confirmation to your email. If you don´t receive the confirmation, first check your junk mail. If the confirmation email is still missing, contact us by email: haku@redu.fi.
